Commentary: Monument Mayhem, History Hysteria, Rooted in Poor Public Education
I believe that this a gross oversimplification. The growth of the welfare state and such contrivances as participation trophies only lead to the proverbial biting the hand that feeds you. Additionally the literal destruction of the traditional family has resulted in little to no discipline at home and greatly diminished respect for authority. Then there are those with money and power who want to destroy the principles of the past in order to redefine the United States to be a secular institution and not one based upon Judeo-Christians principles.
